What do you do for fun outside of racing (other hobbies or interests)?:
Cycling (both raod and mountain biking) and music.

Class(es) currently raced:
HPV Senior Lite and ICA (Intercontinental A).

Number of years you've been racing karts:
Four

Most influential person in your racing career and why:
My father. He provided me with my first exposure to motorsports and my interest grew from that exposure.

Your Racing "hero":
Right now it would be Juan Pablo Montoya - the only driver willing to challenge Michael Schumacher.

Most memorable race and why:
2002 Charlette Manufacturer's Cup. I was able to quickly learn a new track and develop the kart over the weekend to wind up with a 13th place finish. Not a great finish, but my best national finish to date.

Worst Race and why:
Great Lakes Sprint Series race at Circleville Raceway Park in 1999. I didn't finish one complete racing lap - fortunately I didn't travel too far to race!

Greatest racing accomplishment:
Being able to compete with some of the top national level drivers (...on the right day).

Other types of racing you've done or are doing:
SCCA Autocross and track days at Lime Rock, CT and Gingerman in Michigan.

Future racing aspirations:
Continue with karting and finish in the top 5 at a national level race. Perhaps move into formula cars with the SCCA.

Favorite racing quote:
"If you are going to be a bear, be a grizzly!"
