20 March - Full Report On RoboPong.com 200 Finally Posted
Its only taken five months but the full report of the RoboPong.com 200 endurance race is ready for public viewing. Off season obligations and getting the Conlin SpeedSports Trackside Services division up and going kept us from pulling the facts together sooner.
If you're interested in learning what it takes to prepare and then race a kart for 200 miles, at least from our perspective, our RoboPong.com 200 report is a good place to start. It chronicles our adventures and misadventures as we prepped for the race; the last minute arrival of the Biland 4-stroke powerplant; overcoming some last minute component longevity concerns; being fastest on Friday afternoon only to blow an engine Saturday morning; recovering from that with a mad rush of a new engine from Michigan; then overcoming a bad qualifying draw to advance 31 positions during the race.
