26 June - Columbus Dispatch Article Postponed

(Filed from Juneau, Alaska - cool, huh?) Although originally scheduled for this Sunday's (June 27th) Columbus Dispatch Accent Section the story of Dispatch writer Eileen Dempsey's day with us at Circleville Raceway Park has been postpond to a later date. Word is that there was another racing story set for publication and the editors saw too much similarity between the pieces. Indications are are that it will still print but we're not sure when. Stay tuned - hopefully Ms. Dempsey will give us the heads up when a new date has been set and we'll let you know as soon as we do.

21 June - Karting Promo July 11

Conlin SpeedSports will be doing a three hour karting introduction promotion at the Advance Auto Parts store on Cemetery Road in Hilliard, July 11 between 1 and 4 pm. Come on out to say "Hi", learn more about karting and pick up a few things for your car!

20 June - No Wins But Good Points

The return of Barry Hatcher to the HPV Championship after missing a couple races meant Dana would have to be on top of her game but so too was Barry and a couple of second places was the best Dana could manage. Tracy also earned a second in one of her heat races and finished a solid fourth in her Feature. After claiming at least a couple wins each outing so far this year, we came up short today but still earned good points to keep us near the front of the HPV and Super Can championships as we near the half way point of the season. 19 June - Mid-Ohio Promotion Cancelled

Our plans to work the Mid State Ohio Kart Club karting promo at the Mid-Ohio American LeMans Series pro event June 25 through 27 have been shelved for lack of club staffing. We do, however hope to be able to still do the AMA Super Cycle weekend July 23 - 25.

13 June - Extremes

Tracy's hopes for a good showing in front of the reporter went up in wisps of tire smoke.

After two disastrous heat races Tracy pulled herself together and made an impressive run up through the Super Can field finishing third from a tenth starting spot. HPV again suffered from low entries and Dana racked up three more wins. The extremes made for good fodder for Columbus Dispatch reporter Eileen Dempsey who was following our team through the day for an article about Dana and Tracy.
