We had 53 visitors on a gray, cool day with skies threatening rain. Some came over out of curiosity after shopping at Advance Auto but many made a special trip in response to the flyers we had placed with Advance a couple of weeks prior. For most of the event, all four drivers we busy talking with guests and several times folks had to wait for one of us to free up.
Visitors were able to pick up an MSOKC brochure on how to start karting, spectator passes to upcoming races at CRP and copies of National Karting News, courtesy of Mike Unger, who carries NKN sponsorship. Our Scott Wolfe Moving Forward Fund also got much needed exposure.
All in all, a very effective afternoon of educating people on karting and sharing the excitement of the sport. Great promotional ops for the club, our teams and our sponsors.

May 18th at Damon's should be even better.
